HDPE-EVOH Double Layer Composite Pipe Underground Fuel Pipeline|Vohon Petrochemical

HDPE-EVOH double layer composite pipe is specially engineered for buried fuel transmission systems of gas stations, manufactured by advanced multi-layer co-extrusion technology. The inner pipe incorporates an EVOH high barrier layer to restrain hydrocarbon permeation, cutting fuel vapor escape and reducing underground fuel loss. The pipe-in-pipe double containment structure creates secondary safety protection. The annular gap between inner and outer pipe can connect with leak detection devices for continuous interstitial monitoring. If the inner conveying pipe suffers damage, the outer HDPE shell can hold leaked fuel to prevent soil and groundwater contamination.

Constructed from high-density polyethylene, the composite pipe delivers outstanding chemical compatibility with gasoline, diesel, biodiesel and ethanol blended fuels. Unlike buried steel pipelines, it eliminates electrochemical corrosion risks and maintains stable performance for long-term underground service. Conductive modification is optional to dissipate static electricity generated by fast-flowing fuel inside pipelines, lowering fire hazards in hazardous fuel station zones.

This underground fuel pipeline adopts electrofusion connection with matched PE fittings. Electrofusion welding forms molecular integration between pipe and fittings, ensuring tight sealing and minimizing leakage points. It is supplied in continuous coil and straight pipe forms. Coiled pipe greatly reduces on-site welding quantity, simplifies laying work and shortens construction time. Under qualified backfill conditions, complicated concrete trenches are not required. The product fits both new gas station construction and renovation or expansion of existing fuel stations.

The pipe system retains stable mechanical strength under soil pressure and traffic load. Its burst pressure is far higher than normal working pressure. A full series of supporting accessories such as elbows, tees, reducers and end caps are available to build complete underground fuel piping networks, applicable for fill lines, suction lines and VRU vapor recovery pipelines.

Benefiting from the EVOH barrier layer, hydrocarbon permeation is controlled to meet strict environmental requirements for fuel retail sites. Multiple specifications can be customized to match different flow rates and site layouts. Featuring high safety, anti-permeation property and low maintenance, HDPE-EVOH double layer composite pipe provides a reliable underground fuel transmission solution for global filling station projects.
